NCIS DVD is an medium which cannibilizes its own successes, where one hit show inspires more variations on the same formula every pilot season.
Bones DVD "Bones" has that slick look that network TV shows get, where a knowing glance seems to substitute for a richer dialogue or deeper investigation into character.
